Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) play a vital role in giving workers a voice on health and safety matters. While the responsibility for providing a safe workplace sits with the PCBU, HSRs help strengthen safety systems by representing workers and supporting communication between staff and management.

Unit Standard 29315 – Learn the core roles, responsibilities, and rights of a Health and Safety Representative, including worker advocacy and stopping unsafe work.
Advanced Health and Safety Representative Course
Unit Standard 30265 – Develop practical skills to identify hazards, assess risks, and apply safety controls in real workplace situations.
Accident Investigation and Prevention Course
Unit Standards 17601 & 25042 – Master incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and improvement planning to prevent future risks and strengthen workplace safety.
