How does it work?

The Online Learning Platform:
 
kuraCloud is the online learning platform we have partnered with for our online courses. They deliver interactive content that engages students and empowers educators. It provides you, as a learner, with a simple and easy-to-follow solution to your learning needs.
 

Cost and Payment Options:
 
Stage 1: The cost of the course $175 and payment is made online.

Stage 2: The cost of the course $250 and payment is made online.

Stage 3: The cost of the course is $275 and payment is made online.
 

Step-by-Step Guide to the Course:
 

Step 1:
 
Enrol in the Health and Safety Representative training by clicking the “GET STARTED” tab at the top of the page. Complete the registration form, and pay the course fee (all online). **There is an option to purchase a hard copy certificate for $5 if you wish to do so, which will be posted to you once you have completed your course.
 

Step 2:
 
You will receive 3 emails from us:

1. A receipt for payment
2. A “Welcome” email which will explain how to get started on your course
3. A link to the learning platform (kuraCloud)

 
** Make sure to check your junk/spam folder of your emails! Sometimes our emails end up in there.
 

Step 3:
 
Once you have received the link to kuraCloud, click on it and it will take you to a page where you are to create a username and password – which will give you access to the course.
 

Step 4:
 
Complete the modules (lessons) that you need to complete. This is the course material, and all  modules must be completed before moving on to the assessment.
 

Step 5:

Complete and submit the assessment, and wait for an email confirmation of your competency (pass) or not yet competent (not yet passed – a few things to fix up!). This will take between 24-72 hours.
 
**Remember to contact our support staff should you get stuck on a question!
 

Step 6:
 
**If you pass on the first try, move to Step 7!
 
If you have been notified that you have not yet gained competency, you will be given the opportunity to resubmit your answers that were marked as incorrect.
 

• Your first resubmission is free
• If you need to resubmit a second time, you will be charged a fee of $25
• If you need to resubmit a third time, you will be required to pay the full ($175+) fee of the course, and retake the course in its entirety.

 

Step 7:
 
Congratulations, you’ve passed the Health and Safety Representative training!
 
We will record your competency of Unit Standards onto your record of learning with NZQA. This may take up to 10 working days.
 
**If you’ve paid the $5 fee for a hard copy Certificate, we will send this in the post to you within 10 business days to the postal address you provided
 

Step 8:
 
You are now trained and certified to be a Health and Safety Representative of your workplace!
